PIA Insurance Services, Inc. is a separate, wholly-owned for-profit subsidiary corporation of the PIAVA/DC.  The mission of PIA Insurance Services, Inc. is to provide a variety of the business services of an insurance agency, and ancillary insurance services, to insurance agents in Virginia and DC.  To fulfill its mission, PIAIS Inc. offers a select group of insurance products and services that PIAVA/DC members have indicated are useful, cost-effective and needed for their agencies to be profitable.  These products and services include insurance products that members can use to limit risk, protect assets and improve their agency's efficiency and their employees' productivity.

PIA Insurance Services, Inc. (PIAIS) has four profit-building services for PIA member-agents:  1) access to 50 P&C Admitted Markets; 2) Voluntary & Supplemental Worksite product sales; 3) Life, LTC, Annuities/Financial services from SSA; 4) Group Major Medical & Dental from FNBC.  All four PIA programs are designed to help you earn more L&H revenue now with limited effort.

Umbrella Liability Insurance
Umbrella Liability provides additional coverage when the limits of insurance on an underlying policy are exceeded. P&C Admitted Markets Access Program is now offered by PIAIS to PIA member agencies and PIAIS-insured agencies.  Designed to help you earn more revenue now with limited effort, PIAIS’ Property & Casualty Admitted Markets Program has proven to be beneficial for agents and demand is growing as more agents create significant new income streams.
